Classic tunes

We have over 150 classic songs in our repertoire  - many from what is referred to as 'The Great American Songbook'.  Click here for the full song list if you would like to choose the songs you would like us to play - we can also add tunes if there is a particular favourite you would love to hear.

We can perform every song in a variety of different ways using influences from all our favourite artists, whether it's the crooning of Bing Crosby, the swinging sounds of Frank Sinatra, the cool sound of Dean Martin or the more contemporary approach of Jamie Cullum or Michael Bublé.  

We also offer classics from the likes of Bacharach, Van Morrison, Andy Williams and others (and ask us about our brilliant pianist who, with his classical training, could play wonderful classical music at your wedding ceremony or drinks reception).

Gatsby, vintage jazz, swing & jive

Planning a vintage event and looking for that 1920s, 1930s, 1940s, 1950s feel?  We can play a great mix of classic tunes with that jazz, swing and jive feel.  More on vintage jazz & swing here

Electro-swing & jive

We have played a range of electro-swing events over the last couple of years and many of the songs we perform are great in that style - expect that backbeat that keeps you dancing all night!  More on electro-swing here

Cool and contemporary songs

We can offer a second set which includes cool, contemporary and more funky and groovy tunes - get some inspiration here with some of our modern and contemporary songs .  Expect a taste of latin & funk with a Stevie Wonder meets Austin Powers kind of groove - Lord have mercy!  More here

Rat Pack & Hollywood

Add some Hollywood glamour to your event with classic songs from Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr.  Cool, classy, sophisticated and great fun!

Latin grooves

We can't help but put cool latin-jazz and touches of salsa and bossa nova into our set list - it's just too good.  Ask us to tailor the band to this kind of music and if that is the feel you are looking for.  More on latin grooves here

Acoustic Jazz

We often get ask to play at events or locations where there is no electricity or there are noise restrictions.  Don't worry, we have the perfect line-up and equipment so get in touch and ask.

Great band & great disco

Hire the band and disco at the same time.  There are a number of options including using the band sound system for your own iPod, laptop, etc, or you could book the full Hipcat disco.  Ask for more information.

Helpful extras

We can also offer use of the PA for speeches if required and will also provide music on MP3 during any breaks.  A popular option is the facility of providing music on MP3 rather than a disco being booked, or providing the full Hipcat disco.  Please contact us to discuss your event and we will be happy to deal with any questions or queries.
