Gangsters & Molls, Flapper Girls and brilliant dances like the
Charleston. Something for everyone.

- 1930s
- wonderful music from the likes of Cole Porter and George
Gershwin, the songs of Bing Crosby, the glamour of Hollywood,
the films of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, and a great dance
craze in the form of Lindy Hop.
- 1940s
- the war years with evocative music from the likes of Glenn
Miller, Bing Crosby, Louis Armstrong and early Frank Sinatra -
fabulous swing music and swing dancing.

Kelly, classic albums from Frank Sinatra and new music in the
form of rock 'n' roll and a resurgence of jive.

- 1960s

Tiffany's with Audrey Hepburn.
- Las Vegas

-
Electro-swing - bringing a contemporary dancefloor feel
to classic jazz and swing
- Mixed audience
- The Hipcats are very experienced
at playing to mixed audiences - everything from 18th birthday
parties, student parties, weddings, major corporate events to
50th wedding anniversaries. For any event it is
important to have a band that can be flexible and appeal to
everyone. We can play a mix of classic jazz and swing
but we also have a more contemporary set of soul and funk
tunes which get everyone on the dancefloor - get in touch to
find out more.
